Description
Locking by three radial set screws with brass insert, inclined at the thread angle

The slotted round nut type KMT can be locked by three
brass inserts, which are pressed onto the axle by setscrews.
The main thread's pitch continues through the brass insert's
front to get a tight closure of the mould. The angle of 60°
allows to adjust a possible axial run-out between the nut's
contact surface and the shaft's thread within the limits of the
tolerances. Up to the size of KMT 15 M 75x2 the nut has additional flats to be tightened by a spanner.
